Solar Cell Screens
MicroScreen has a long history in the solar cell industry. In fact, we led the way for North American manufacture of photovoltaic (PV) solar cell screens in the 1990s and 2000s. With solar cell manufacturing now returning to North America, MicroScreen is again leading the industry with its best-in-class technology.
All screens made in the USA
Most experienced screen producer in the US
Largest production capacity among domestic suppliers
MicroScreen is a leader and innovator in screen technology for solar cell production. We utilize the most advanced laser systems available and very fine tungsten mesh, woven with wires just 13 microns in diameter, to create long-lasting screens that are capable of printing extremely tiny features with high accuracy. We have the equipment and unparalleled capacity to deliver the high volumes of consistently accurate screens that PV solar plants require.
We use the very best leading equipment and material suppliers from around the world to make the highest quality fine-line screens available. Custom Swiss-made wire mesh stretching equipment and the highest grade ultra-fine wire stainless steel mesh are used to make screens to tight tension tolerances.
We use state-of-the-art CO2 and UV lasers from the top manufacturers in the world for knotless and polyimide screen technologies. Specialized European coating machines apply any of dozens of emulsion options in thicknesses from 6 to 1000 microns within very tight tolerances. Precision exposure sources are available to add print images for finished, ready-to-print screens.
In our ISO-9001 certified factories in South Bend, Indiana, and New Braunfels, Texas, our teams of highly trained professionals use the latest equipment and materials available to build the most reliable screens from the ground up. Our clean rooms and facilities are designed to produce thousands of screens per week, each held to the highest quality standards.
